Korey Hall has spent his career serving the people of Michigan. With a background in state government and decades of community engagement, he understands how to move good ideas from talk to action. Korey believes in listening first, leading with humility, and building coalitions that deliver results for everyday families.
Support safe neighborhoods through prevention. Partner with local leaders, clergy, and nonprofits to address violence and build trust. Invest in youth programs that create pathways, not pipelines.
Expand access to quality education from early learning through higher education. Strengthen vocational and technical training that prepares students for real‑world careers. Ensure every child, regardless of ZIP code, has access to safe schools and modern technology.
Support and expand small‑business development. Create jobs and opportunities that strengthen our communities. Encourage entrepreneurship and economic self‑sufficiency.
Expand affordable housing and rental assistance programs. Protect homeowners and renters from predatory practices. Strengthen community support services for families facing hardship.
Increase access to quality, affordable healthcare. Invest in clean air and conservation initiatives to promote and protect public health.
Fix roads and water lines, expand broadband, and secure funding for community centers, parks, and safe routes to school.
Korey will assemble a “District Solutions Table” that brings together city leaders, school officials, law enforcement, small businesses, labor, and the faith community. The mission: identify local priorities, assign owners, timeline the work, and report progress publicly.
